Dr Valerie Asche Fund for AFUW (NT) Scholarships
Dr. Valarie Asche is a foundation and life member of AFUW (NT). She has very kindly lent her name to the new AFUW (NT) fund raising project.

The purpose of the new fund is to increase the amount AFUW (NT) is able to offer undergraduate and postgraduate women studying in the NT, and to ensure ongoing funding for scholarships offered to women at the National University of Timor Leste, Dili, East Timor.
AFUW (NT) is delighted that Valerie has lent her support to the scholarship program, thereby affirming the importance of this form of support for women scholars in the NT and Timor Leste.
We are developing a register
of supporters, whom we would like to contact on an annual basis. We also
hope that women on the register may also assist Timor Leste women develop their
networks in the NT, while visiting the NT on future study tours.
